Jamieson Contracting – GMCC Social Value Bronze Award!

Jamieson Contracting are pleased to accept a company award from Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce in recognition for their hard work and time dedicated towards social value in the GM area.

The GM Social Value Awards have been launched by GMCC to coincide with Volunteer’s Week 2017. GMCC created the awards programme to formally recognise hard work, time and resources that companies have given to initiatives that have benefitted the community – such as school programmes, employing ex-offenders through their Apprentice Share programme and Young Chamber Activity.

JCL have a strong commitment to social value through Greater Manchester and have participated in the GMCC initiatives through Career Day Talks, Mock interviews, Mentoring and Careers Fairs. Not only is this work very rewarding for JCL staff who are involved in the initiatives, but it really does benefit the kids in providing useful skills and information which can help them make big decisions about what is next for them after school.

We would like to thank GMCC for the bronze award and also thank all the staff who have contributed towards its achievement.
