Health & Safety

Health and Safety is a fundamental part of how we work at Jamieson Contracting.

We take our safety compliance very seriously and to support this, we have implemented robust internal procedures that are designed to create a safe working environment for all.

As part of our daily operations, we regularly prepare, develop and review health, safety, environmental and quality plans within company and supply chain arrangements. We have also implemented a range of risk management measures to minimise risk through each stage of the construction process.

We employ a fully competent and qualified workforce and our experienced management team are trained in current health and safety legislation through recognised industry schemes such as SMSTS, IOSH and CSCS.

All subcontractors must complete our rigorous pre-qualification process, assessing a range of competencies including their health and safety approach, accreditations, and accident records. 

We hold various industry-recognised Health and Safety accreditations, including CHAS, FORS, CLOCS, Constructionline and ISO 45001.
