Project Completion – Elmridge Primary School Kitchen Refurbishment

The Jamieson Team have now completed the kitchen ventilation works at Elmridge Primary School in Hale Barns for AHR and Bright Futures Educational Trust.

This work included renewal of kitchen equipment including M&E upgrades with minor structural works to support the new canopy ventilation system on the roof. The works were completed with new internal finishes the walls and the ceiling, roof alterations and a new man safe system around the roof to assist future maintenance for the school.

These works were complicated by the discovery of asbestos and the fact all the services for the school had to be re-routed to allow the new structural steel to be installed to support the roof and to support the new cooker hood.

All works were completed within budget and as per construction programme, thanks to the cooperation from Elmridge Primary School and AHR during the works.
